Today I worked on my Investigation, and began my introduction. I only compleated one question because I couldn't find the right information on the computer about the functions of a database, and also the internet stopped working a few times, and so it took a while to load the pages. I almost finished my introduction, and I think that I can finish my investigation next week. I worked on my investigation at home a little while I was sick on Monday, so I finished a couple questions there.

Today I went through the Access tutorial again, and used Access to get a hands on experience. I made a database of friends, their school numbers, emails, and their first and last names. I also made one that said what my afterschool activities were for this week, and I learned how to navigate Access better. I also kept doing my investigation, and finished explaining what a filofax and rolodex were. I think that I can finish the old ways of manual data storing next time, but this time I couldn´t open my file from last time, so I had to start over.

Today I started a new project in I.T. I'm going to use Microsoft Access 2007 to make a data base. I took a tutorial on the Office website, and found out how to navigate and work the Access program. I also began to research about filing cabinets, rolodexes, record books, filofaxes, and address books for the part of the investigation that I am working on; 5 older manual ways to store data. I used Microsoft 2007 to type my research and notes.

Today I finally finished my PhotoStory, and I am putting it on my blog so that 5 people in the class to watch it and then do my questionaire. I would like you to give a mark from 1-5 on each question, 1 being terrible, and 5 being excellent. The last question needs an opinion, so it won't be necessary to mark the last question. Here is my video and questionaire:
1. Do my images relate to the text, narration, and each other?
2. Are my transition motions in placed in appropriate places?
3. Do my images relate to my narration?
4. Are my images appropriate?
5. Is my text eye-catching?
6. Is my background music appropriate for the story?
7. Is my narration appropriate for my audience?
8. Does my story get boring after a while, or is it the right time length?
9. Would you want to hear more of my story? If so, why?
Thanks!!!
